It is very important that prior to working out, stretches are done. If you don't stretch prior to, and after, a workout, your muscles do not get a chance to become flexible and pliable, and this can cause injury. You could also get massages to relax your muscles and help them expand as they recover. Mix up your grip. Grip the weight bar with a staged or mixed grip position when performing deadlifts and rack pulls, to achieve a varied workout and better overall results. Staggered grips assist you in twisting the bar in one direction, while the underhand grip puts the bar in the opposite direction. This stops the bar from rolling all over your hands. Include a 10-minute stretching warm-up in every weight lifting session.
