GREEN BAY, Wis. -- It wasnt all bad news for the Green Bay Packers on the injury front this week: Receiver Davante Adams was activated for Thursday nights game against the Chicago Bears.Adams spent the week in the concussion protocol after he left last Sundays game against the Dallas Cowboys because of a blow to the head. The Packers No. 3 receiver left in the third quarter, and the team said he was being evaluated for a concussion. He said after the game that he did not have a concussion. However, he was added to the injury report on Monday with a concussion.He was listed as questionable on Wednesdays injury report as a limited participant, which means he was cleared.Adams is one of seven receivers on the Packers roster, and six will be active against the Bears. Jared Abbrederis (quadriceps) is the only one inactive.Thats far better than their situation at running back and cornerback. Theyre down to Knile Davis, who was acquired Tuesday in a trade with the Chiefs, and Don Jackson, who was promoted Thursday from the practice squad, in their offensive backfield. Theyre expected to use receivers Ty Montgomery and Randall Cobb at running back after Eddie Lacy was placed on injured reserve earlier in the day.The Packers listed Jackson as their starter.
